Introduction
1.1. This document, together with other documents referenced herein, sets forth the terms and conditions governing the use of these websites (hereinafter referred to as “terms”) and applies to contracts concluded between the user and Virtuo Media s.r.o.
1.2. Virtuo Media s.r.o. (also referred to as “Virtuo Media” or “VR Guide Me”) is a licensed travel service provider authorized to operate in the Czech Republic.
1.3. VR Guide Me recommends that users read the Terms, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy carefully before using these websites, available at www.vrguideme.cz. The use of the websites and their services is subject to these Terms and Privacy Policy, including rights and obligations arising from their use. If the user does not accept any of the terms, they should not use these websites. These Terms apply to any individual or legal entity that orders services from VR Guide Me and are valid from the time the contract is concluded. If the user rejects these terms, VR Guide Me reserves the right to refuse service.
Service Description
2.1. VR Guide Me provides users with a guided tour of Prague, complemented by a virtual reality experience that recreates a historical moment at its original location. The main purpose of this service is entertainment. While VR Guide Me has developed technology to offer a historically accurate virtual reality experience, it is not liable for potential inaccuracies in the images or storytelling. No complaints will be accepted regarding historical inaccuracies.
Use of Service
3.1. Use of this service is at the user’s own risk, and users are responsible for their own safety and integrity.
3.2. Users must use virtual reality glasses in a safe location, following VR Guide Me’s instructions, particularly safety measures that include avoiding use on roads, near vehicles, or in conditions that may pose risks.
3.3. Information regarding the meeting point, location, route, and schedule will be available, among other places, on the website www.vrguideme.cz.
3.4. Purchased tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.3.5. Age and Health Restrictions: The service may be used by individuals over 14 years old, and by individuals over 12 years old if accompanied by a legal guardian.
3.6. The virtual experience includes three-dimensional scenes that may affect users’ perception. It is not recommended for individuals diagnosed with epilepsy, seizures, mental disorders, or other conditions that may be affected by visual effects.
3.7. VR Guide Me is not responsible for any discomfort or adverse reactions that users may experience. Virtual reality visual effects can cause agitation or confusion; therefore, this service is not recommended for individuals with epilepsy or those prone to it.
3.8. The service may not be used by individuals under the influence of alcohol, drugs, sedatives, or other intoxicating substances.
3.9. VR Guide Me is not liable if users ignore these restrictions.
Deposit
4.1. A deposit of one hundred euros (100 EUR) or a valid ID is required as collateral for borrowing the virtual reality glasses. This deposit can be paid in cash or by credit card. If the user refuses to pay the deposit, VR Guide Me may withdraw from the contract.
Prices and Payment
5.1. Service prices are available at www.vrguideme.cz. Purchases made through the website can only be made by credit card, while purchases at meeting points can be made in cash or by credit card.
Data Protection and Privacy
6.1. VR Guide Me may collect users’ personal data for logistical and operational purposes and will not disclose them to third parties without prior written consent.
6.2. This privacy policy was last updated on May 17, 2022, and complies with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Personal Data Protection Directive (May 2011).
Liability
7.1. VR Guide Me will not be liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the service, including physical discomfort or altered user perception. The user acknowledges that virtual reality use may involve certain risks and that VR Guide Me assumes no liability for adverse effects associated with the experience.
